PPKUKM - Perum Bulog Holds Market Operations

The Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Industry and Trade (PPKUKM) cooperates with the Perum Bulog and Sugar Group to hold market operation in five areas up to seven days ahead.

It can bring benefits to the citizens in particular to provide peace in meeting their basic needs

It aims to maintain the availability and stability of prices of basic commodities and to anticipate panic buying amid COVID-19 outbreak.

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head Elizabeth Ratu Rante Allo stated those market operations are Kramat Jati Market (East Jakarta), Mampang Market (South Jakarta), Cempaka Putih Market (Central Jakarta), Koja Market (North Jakarta) and Tomang Market (West Jakarta).

"It can bring benefits to the citizens in particular to provide peace in meeting their basic needs," he expressed, Wednesday (3/18).

Meanwhile, Perum Bulog's Operational and Public Service Director Tri Wahyudi Saleh expressed the market offers food such as rice, sugar, oil and flour.

As for the information, the staples that are sold include 5 kg-medium rice Rp 45,000, 50 kg-medium rice Rp 415,000, 5 kg-premium rice Rp 61,000, flour Rp 8,500 per kg, cooking oil Rp 11,500 per liter and sugar Rp 12,500 per kg.
